Assembly

• Disassemble and rinse the pump.
  
• Vigorously shake and tap the dry filter on a hard surface to prevent the granules inside from clumping together.
• Thoroughly rinse the filter to prevent black sediment from leaking into your fountain.
• Submerge the filter in a bucket of water and press on the cotton mesh so the air can escape. This will prevent the filter from floating

Maintenance

• All components can be washed with warm water, using a soft sponge and dishwashing soap.
  • Never use aggressive detergents or an abrasive sponge.
• Please clean the top parts of the fountain regularly to prevent scale from settling on the fountain.
• The pump should be removed from the fountain and disassembled for cleaning on a biweekly basis.
• Rinse each part separately with water before reassembling.
